The Afghan Street Children Project
Baqi Samandar, a social activist, who dedicates his life entirely to the street children of Afghanistan, founded the Kashanas - "Houses of Hope for Children" - about 20 years ago with the aim of giving as many street children as possible a chance for a brighter future through education, craft training and other support.
Vandria's visit & 2 Cultural Centers
Vandria's visit and introduction to 2 great indigenous projects in the Amazon quickly made it clear that cultural centers for 4 Borari villages would be a necessary prerequisite for these projects. S'BRENT will support ProAmazonia Konstanz, who have a partnership with the Borari, in building 2 of them initially.
Benefit concert for Afghanistan
In August 2021, we witnessed an unimaginable humanitarian catastrophe in Afghanistan. Anyone who stood up for human rights, freedom and education there was threatened with persecution. Girls and women who had studied and often held high positions destroyed their diplomas and were obliterated as individuals under the burqa.
Moria, Europe's largest refugee camp
Autumn 2020. Thousands of people traumatized by war and flight live under inhumane conditions in the largest refugee camp in Europe. Deprived of their human rights and exposed mercilessly to the bitter cold in winter and the heat in summer. We want to create more humane living conditions and educational opportunities for them.
